Are you or a loved one struggling with opioid use disorder? Do you want to quit but get overwhelmed by intense withdrawal symptoms every time you try? You’re not alone. Just under 24,000 people in Tennessee received treatment for a nonfatal opioid overdose in 2019, according to data from the Tennessee Drug Overdose Dashboard. ReVIDA Recovery® can help you overcome your opioid use disorder through medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
Clinically Proven Treatment Options
ReVIDA Recovery® Newport offers a number of outpatient services, including:
• Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with buprenorphine (Suboxone®)
• Structured outpatient programs
• Community resources
• Certified peer recovery counseling
• Family therapy
• Group therapy
• Individual therapy
• A care coordinator
• Linkage and referral to additional resources
MAT is an important part of our services because it has been found to:
• Improve survival chances
• Keep people in treatment
• Improve pregnancy outcomes
• Improve employment opportunities
• Lower opioid consumption
• Lower illegal activity
When you start treatment at ReVIDA Recovery® Newport, you will meet with three people:
• Your physician, who will write your prescription for buprenorphine (Suboxone®) and any other medications you may need relating to your mental health.
• Your patient care coordinator, who will likely be a nurse practitioner. This person will help you in building resources outside of the treatment facility. This includes helping you find job opportunities, education, extended therapy time, or anything else that will benefit you and your future.
• Your therapist, who will help you in answering the challenges you may face with your mental health from before treatment or during treatment. During meetings with your therapist, you will gain the tools needed to deal with things like trauma, family conflict, emotions, communication, goal-setting, and more.

Treatment That Works for Working People
ReVIDA Recovery® Newport offers a structured outpatient program. This means that you can start your journey toward recovery from OUD without staying in a residential treatment center. We know that you need support in order to recover from OUD, but you also have responsibilities that you may not be able to put on hold for a lengthy stay at an inpatient facility. In your daily life, we know you’re busy trying to pay bills, maintain family responsibilities, and go to work/school. Every day you have to work not to fall behind. That’s why our meetings only last 15-50 minutes. We want you to be able to receive treatment and then get back to your busy day.
